Working with Site Settings

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain Site Settings.

Introduction

In this unit, you will refresh your knowledge of the Site Settings configuration tool that you learned about in the Concur Request Configuration Tools Overview unit. You will recall how Site Settings are configured and learn how to configure them for CVI.

Note

It is strongly recommended that you have a copy of CVI's business requirements available as you complete this unit.

After completing this unit, you will be able to:

  • Explain Site Settings.
  • Demonstrate configuring Site Settings in Concur Request based on CVI's business requirements.

Site Settings Overview

Site Settings for Concur Request function the same as they do in Concur Expense: They enable and disable features and impact all users. There is no way to have different settings by Policy, Group, or any other option.

There are several settings that can be used when Concur Request is integrated with Concur Expense or Concur Travel. Some site settings in Concur Expense can also impact integrating the two services. This unit will focus only on the settings for Concur Request.
