Travel Agency Offices Overview
Travel Agency Offices are the offices and contact details for the travel agencies or Travel Management Company (TMC) used to fulfill travel itineraries. Some approval processes require the system to e-mail important information to the TMC, whether or not the site is integrated with Concur Travel. The system will use the contact details entered here to send those details to the agencies.
No matter what the approval processes look like, SAP Concur recommends entering all of the TMC details now, so the site will be ready if policies change in the future.
Caution
For customers: integrating Concur Request and Concur Travel is a very technical process. Do not attempt to complete this integration without assistance from SAP Concur or one of their certified partners.
Travel Agency Offices Facts
Travel Agency Offices are assignable to Request Groups. If there is more than one agency office active for the same group, the Request Header form can be configured to include this information so the employee can select the proper office for their request.
Alternatively, a default office can be assigned to an employee's profile so they do not have to select the office for each request. By default, the travel agency information in the employee profile copies down to the Request Header. The default travel agency information can also be loaded by using the employee import.
The subject and body of the e-mails sent to the Travel Agency Office are configured using the Email Notifications tab in the Workflows area.
