Compare Rates 1.0 to Rates 2.0

To locate the minimum and maximum rates for a specific role, select Rate Grid. The Rate Grid list displays job roles that are linked to Rate Cards. Among various job roles involving administrative duties, locate and select the role titled Administrator. When selected, you'll be directed to the Administrator Details page. Here you'll find information such as the description and the linked Job Posting Templates and/or SOW Worker role. However, the crucial step is to select Suppliers and Sites to access the minimum and maximum rates for the available Supplier and Site combinations for administrators. On the Supplier and Sites Details page, you'll find the list of Suppliers servicing the Contingent module. The last column to the right is the Sites column. The numbers within this column indicates the number of sites that have rates available for the Supplier and administrator combination. To find the minimum and maximum rates sourced by ReCrewIT, you would select the Sites associated with the Supplier. Finally, as you were specifically looking for the minimum and maximum rates for Chicago, you would find the Rate Group specific to this site, then you would click on the Rate Group to display the standard minimum and maximum rates. You see the minimum is 1 and the maximum is 185. Within this group, you'll also find an overtime rate set at 1.35 times the standard rate and and a double time rate, which is 1.85 times the standard rate. With Rates 2.0, this entire structure, as well as the process of searching through it, is simplified through the use of Custom Lookups. Let's explore how an administrator would discover the minimum and maximum rates using Rates 2.0 functionality. Notice, first of all, that Rates 2.0 reduces the number of required admin objects. However, to find a rate using Rates 2.0, you wouldn't start in the Rates Structure section; you'd start in the Configuration section. To find a Rate, you'd start by  selecting Custom Lookup. Custom Lookups can be utilized for other functions of SAP Fieldglass, so if necessary, you could filter to find custom lookups for rates. However, this list of Custom Lookups is smaller, so you can easily find the lookup you need. While there are two Rate Custom Lookups  available, only one is configured for the Contingent  service type. Select "Rates with Rate Cards per role and Supplier and Site." Once selected, you can review additional details such as the segments that make up the configuration of the Custom Lookup, along with the data inputted into the Pick List. Essentially, the Entered data represents the Rate Card. You can see the minimum and maximum values for the different Job Codes, Supplier and Site combinations. Within the Pick List, you can search or filter for the minimum and maximum rates for administrators submitted by reCrewIT in the Chicago area. And you'll discover that the minimum rate is 30.49 and the maximum rate is 35.43. Not only was this process faster, but it allowed you to easily compare the ranges for other regions to remain competitive in the market. Finding rates using Rates 2.0 is clearly an easier and more efficient process than in Rates 1.0.
