Starting at the Admin menu, Tasha selects Rate Schedule from the Rate Structure section. To utilize the 2.0 functionality and create a Rate Schedule, she selects New. This Rate Schedule will only apply to Contingent workers, therefore she selects Contingent as the Service Type. For this Rate Schedule, designed according to US rate rules, input "US RS" for both the Code and Name. Select Rates and or Units as the Type. The Use Admin Structure field determines how changes to the Rate Schedule are reflected  on work orders. If Yes is selected, the Rate Schedule structure is copied from the Admin menu when a work order or work order revision is created. If No is selected, when a work order or work order revision is created, the Rate Schedule is copied from the Job Posting. In this instance, Tasha selects No. Tasha needs to define the shifts that need to be associated to the Rate Schedule, so she selects Add Shifts. Since default is the only shift defined in the tenant, she selects that. Once she's finished filling out the details section and selecting Shifts, she selects  Continue to proceed to the next page. Mandatory Rate Schedule Custom Fields automatically display in the Custom Field section when creating  a Rate Schedule. For this schedule, any hours exceeding 40 per week would be classified as overtime. Rate Schedules must include a base rate, which applies to all shifts listed on the schedule. The committed and estimated spend is determined based on this rate. To add the standard base rate, Tasha selects Add or Remove Rates, and selects Standard. Certain customers have workers whose pay and bill rate values are determined by predefined and conditional formulas, such as over overtime, and doubletime. To accommodate these scenarios, custom Rules can now be generated. To ensure accurate calculation of standard hours, Tasha selects the Hours Worked rate rule. She wants to add a section for overtime, so she selects Add Section. She names the new section Overtime. She selects the default checkbox in the selected Shifts field. To add a rate to the new section, she selects Add or Remove Rates, and selects the Overtime OT hourly calculated rate. To ensure accurate calculation of overtime hours, include the Hours Worked up to Work Order Weekly Hours Rate Rule. Lastly, she adds a section for double time. Once the required sections are configured, she selects Add, and the Rate Schedule is created.
