A B2B order fulfillment integration scenario between SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP Commerce Cloud, involves the replication of Contact Person (B2B Customer) and Business Partner (B2B Unit) data. The data comes from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to SAP Commerce Cloud. After the successful replication, you now need to make sure that the B2B Customer can log on to the SAP Commerce Cloud storefront and place orders.
You’ll need to check and update the group permissions of a B2B Customer in the SAP Commerce Cloud Backoffice. There are several group permissions required to allow a B2B Customer to log on and place an order in the SAP Commerce Cloud storefront.
- Access SAP Commerce Cloud Backoffice and log on as an administrator.
- Navigate to B2B Commerce → B2B Customer.
- You now need to search for a customer. Let's use the example B2B Customer whose UID (email) is elena.meier@sap.com. Remember that this is Contact Person (B2B Customer) data that would have been replicated earlier from SAP S/4HANA Cloud, the system being integrated with SAP Commerce Cloud, during the replicating of Master Data. Select elena.meier@sap.com, and choose Search.
- Choose the B2B Customer entry in the Search Result area to view the details of the B2B Customer.
- In the Editor area at the bottom, find the Groups field from the General tab.
- Verify if the user groups 1000080_1710_10_00, b2bcustomergroup and b2badmingroup are assigned to the B2B customer. These user groups allow members to log on to the storefront, place, and track their orders.
Note
The user group 1000080_1710_10_00 is a B2B unit replicated from SAP S/4HANA Cloud. And if the SAP S/4HANA Cloud customer group ID and b2bcustomergroup are missing, perform the verification at SAP S/4HANA Cloud side. Verify if the contact person is correctly assigned to the account group and has been given the correct function. - In the Editor area, find the Permissions field from the Permissions tab. Verify if the required B2B order threshold permissions are assigned to the B2B customer. You now need to assign permissions, which have been created earlier in completing the SAP Commerce Cloud configuration for order exchange, when setting up sample data. Let's assign the example permissions TT_17100005 and TP_17100005, which would have been created then.
- Choose Save.
