Identifying the Data within the Systems

Objectives

After completing this lesson, you will be able to:
  • Explain what data needs to be replicated for an example B2B order fulfillment integration scenario between SAP S4/HANA and SAP Commerce Cloud
  • Identify the catalogs in SAP Commerce Cloud to receive master data

Data Replication for Integration Scenario

To implement the B2B order fulfillment integration scenario between SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP Commerce Cloud, we need to replicate the master data, organizational data, and other data. To do this, we have set up the following sample data in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP Commerce Cloud systems. You can work with your own data, of course.

If you would like to use another distribution channel for SAP Commerce Cloud related sales orders, follow the steps in the set-up instructions of Sell from Stock (BD9), in the Extend New Distribution Channel and Set Pricing Procedure Determination sections.

SAP Commerce Cloud Catalogs to Receive Master Data

In SAP Commerce Cloud, the Powertools product catalog of the B2B Powertools company will be used to receive the material master data from SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The Powertools content catalog will be used to manage the Web Content Management System (WCMS) items on the storefront, and the Powertools classification catalog will be used to manage the classification categories, features, unit and feature values for the product master data.
