Configuring Destinations

Introduction

You will learn how to configure destinations in the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution. This configuration is required to integrate the solution with external systems for data transfer or to perform actions. You will learn how to create a new destination, link it to a rule provider, and how to activate and deactivate the destinations. The lesson will cover the step-by-step process of configuring destinations in the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution.

Destinations

In the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution, this application can be found under the Configuration tab or use Configure Destinations in the open search section to access it. This configuration is required to integrate the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution with external systems for data transfer or to perform some actions, destinations configured are nothing but URL or endpoint of the external system.

Configuring Destinations

Click on Create as pointed in the figure above on how to create a new entry. The Configuration is to link the destination to the Rule provider selected from the dropdown list. Link the destination to the rule provider.

Activation and Deactivation

When a new destination assignment to rule provider is saved the status is set to Active by default. At any point in time, the destinations can be deactivated by providing the right Deactivation Reason, some optional comments, and reviewing the Where used list. In the same way, deactivated entries can be activated by providing the right Activation Reason.
