Configuring SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to analyze and apply the steps to configure SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration.

Introduction

We will explore the process of configuring new entries for Therapy Type, Therapy Category, and Indications within the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration configuration. You will learn each step involved and understand how to apply the correct configuration parameters to create and manage these entries effectively.

Therapy Type

In the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution, this application can be found under the Configuration tab or use Configure Therapy Types in the open search section to access it. The therapy type is used to identify the type of therapy - such as Commercial therapy, Clinical therapy, and so on.

Configuring Therapy Type

Click on Create, as pointed to in the figure above on how to create a new entry.

The configuration consists of the following:

  • Unique ID of 40 Characters
  • Name of 50 Characters
  • Description of 250 Characters

Activation and Deactivation

When a new Therapy Type is saved, the status is set to Active by default. At any point in time, the Therapy type can be deactivated by providing the right Deactivation Reason, some optional comments, and reviewing the Where used list. In the same way, deactivated entries can be activated by providing the right Activation Reason.

Therapy Category

The Therapy Category is used to categorize and group the therapy types like Radiotherapy, Immunotherapy, Chemotherapy, and so on.

The Indication is to improvise the patient condition like a sign, symptom, or medical condition that leads to the recommendation of a particular treatment.

  • Name of 50 Characters
