Contact Persons

In the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution, this application can be found under the Master Data tab or use Manage Contact Persons in the open search section to access it.

A person who acts a point of contact within the organization, or from a vendor or customer, is managed in the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution as a contact person.

Personal Details

The contact person master data setup consists of the following:

  • Unique ID of 40 characters
  • Personal details - this section carries the personal details of the contact person like First name, last name, middle name, Title, Academic title, and language preferences for correspondence and communication languages
  • Employment details by choosing the department

Address Information

Communication Details

Communication details consisting of the following:

  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Mobile phone number
  • Communication method - suggests the contact person's preferred communication method either email or mobile or telephone

Activation and Deactivation of an Organization

When a new contact person entry is created, the status is set to Active by default. At any point in time, the contact person can be deactivated by providing the right deactivation Reason and optional comments. In the same way, deactivated entries can be activated by providing the right Activation Reason.
