Add an Admin User to Identity Authentication Service (IAS)

Prerequisites

You have activated your account for the administration console of SAP Cloud Identity Services, so you have the required admin rights.

The Identity Authentication Service (IAS) is SAP Intelligent Agriculture's identity provider and is where you create and manage users, as well as the various roles available for assignment.

Steps

  1. Within User and Authorizations, navigate to User Management and select Add User to add an Admin user to the Identity Authentication Service (IAS).

  2. Fill in the mandatory fields, then select Save.

  3. The newly added user will show up on the screen. The user will be receiving a confirmation email.

  4. On the upper left side of the screen, select Administrators and choose Add.

  5. Enter the email, First and Last name and configure the authorizations as needed.

    Choose Save.

  6. The new Admin User will show up in the screen - as shown in the following figure.
