Using the Tool Readiness Check

SAP Readiness Check provides a suite of self-service tools to assist with scoping and planning your next step on the digital transformation journey.

1. SAP Solution Manager usage and planning:

This check provides an overview of application lifecycle management scenarios and capabilities used in your SAP Solution Manager system. The available features enable you to do the following:

Display the distribution of scenarios and capabilities by area (implementation and operations).
Identify used and unused capabilities in your source system
Categorize capabilities as relevant or not relevant.

2. Equivalent Capabilities in Sap Cloud ALM:

For all capabilities in your source system that are categorized as relevant in the usage in SAP Solution Manager check, this check provides insight into the availability of equivalent capabilities in SAP Cloud ALM or other SAP solutions. You can do the following:

Display a list of all relevant capabilities in your source system.
See which application lifecycle management capabilities are available in SAP Cloud ALM (currently available, planned, or expected but not yet planned), other SAP solutions, or SAP Solution Manager only.

3. On top capabilities in SAP Cloud ALM:

This check shows the distribution of the complete set of capabilities in SAP Cloud ALM per area. You can do the following:

See the distribution of all available capabilities in SAP Cloud ALM by area.
Learn more about each capability (usage and availability of an equivalent capability in the source system).

1. Usage in SAP Solution Manager

This section shows a summary of Application Lifecycle Management capabilities analyzed in your SAP Solution Manager system. The displayed findings were collected via a set of checks, which measured the data volumes of key master and transactional data tables in your system. This summary also shows for which of these capabilities the relevant toggle has been set to the value yes.
