SAP Convergent Charging also offers a web-based user interface. If you have previously worked with UI5-based web apps, this interface will look familiar to you. The tool is accessible via the link:
http(s)://<IP_OR_DNS_ADDRESS>:<PORT_NB>/<WEB_APP_NAME>/
- <IP_OR_DNS_ADDRESS> and <PORT_NB>are the hostname/IP and port the web application server hosting the web app is running on.
- <WEB_APP_NAME> is the web app name on the application server. By default this is "cockpit".
To log on, you can use the credentials you have been given to log on to the Core Tool.
Once logged in, you are welcomed by the familiar tile view. Each tile represents an application dedicated to a specific function or object type. Apps are grouped into sections by their functional area. The following apps are available:

Which tiles you can see and have access to depends on the roles that are assigned to your user. Over the course of this training you will not use the cockpit extensively, therefore not all aspects of it are explained here. To give you an impression of how the tool looks and feels, we will briefly have a look at how mapping tables can be viewed in the cockpit. You haven’t heard about mapping tables yet, but don’t worry. We will cover them in detail in later units. For now, just know that tables are used to store information like the prices you want to charge for your services.
