From the Entitlement Management System homepage, select the Configure Entitlement Master Data app. The Configuration Overview page displays the shortcuts to configure master data. We'll assign an entitlement to an offering. Select the Offering to Entitlement Mapping menu item. The Configure Entitlement Master Data page displays the Offerings and Mapping Details sections. The list of offerings on the left defaults to Category 01. EMS utilizes the Offering to Entitlement mapping feature within the Assign Entitlement to Offering section of the Configuration Overview to establish a link between the offering and the entitlement. By assigning an entitlement to an offering, you enable a connection between a company's business progress and an entitlement. You can also map other system offerings to an entitlement model. The rule for generating specific entitlement models is determined by the mapping configuration. For example, we'll enter the offering code TG70 in the search and name, code, or source system field. TG70 is mapped to multiple entitlement models. Entitlement to offering mapping is important to maintain the following relationships. It maintains the mapping between commercial offerings and the entitlement model, maintains the static or variable value for the entitlement, supports calculations for number attributes, sets the rule to determine which entitlement model should be generated based on the mapping configuration and sets the execution batch number to determine the generation sequence of entitlements linked to a mapping. The mapped entitlement models are listed under this subscription. The execution number is based  on execution batch. A smaller number will execute before a larger number. In the entitlement mapping entry screen, you can switch between the offering view and the entitlement model view. Select the switch button to switch between the screens. Based on your selection, the entitlement mapping content page displays the information for the offering or the entitlement model. When you switch to offering view, the mapping can be maintained either by the offering category or by a single entitlement offering. Mappings created under an offering category will be inherited by all offerings belonging to the category. For example, if we enter the offering code TG70 in the search field, we can see that the mapping is based on the offering ID. Let's review the mapping details associated with the category. The category represents the offering category maintained in the View Offerings app. Open each category to view all offerings belonging to the category. The runtime behavior is displayed under each category and represents how the mapping is executed during runtime. map from his read-only information contained by mappings and is displayed under the offering. It represents whether this mapping is inherited from the category or directly created under the offering. Execution batch represents the generation sequence of mappings linked with one sales document item. We'll enter the offering code TG70 once again. The rule set linked with a mapping with a smaller batch number will be executed first. Offering ID and name represents the offering from the customer's sales document order from the upstream order system, which includes the SKU, material, provided contracts, master agreement, and more. This information is displayed in the entitlement model's view only. The source system represents the order system where the offering orders are received. Each source system has a unique ID. Next is the entitlement model. We'll change the view to Offerings. Under this configuration page, the entitlement is derived and determines which value. The constant value or dynamic value should be maintained for the corresponding attributes. The model determines the entitlement structure. The status represents the status of the mapping. The status is represented by an icon. A green check mark indicates it is active and a yellow triangle indicates it is inactive. Under administration data,  information is displayed regarding created by, created at, last changed by, and last changed at.
