<div id="content"><p tabindex="0">In SAP Entitlement Management, a consumption form is a document or data input form used to track the consumption of entitlements for a specific product or service. It captures information such as the type of entitlement, the quantity consumed, the user or customer consuming the entitlement, and the time of the consumption.</p><p tabindex="0">Let’s look at consumption forms in detail. After selecting the Configure Entitlement Master Data tile, select Consumption Form under Model New Entitlement. The Consumption Form determines which attributes are recorded for an entitlement model and track consumption. You use the Consumption Form to define how customers use an entitlement. It also allows customers to show the remaining balance of all attributes. The Consumption Form is assigned to the entitlement model if it is consumable. Select the Create button in the footer to create a new consumption form by defining a code, name, and an optional description. Select the Assign button to create a separate consumption-specific field. There are two fields to assign, from entitlement attributes and from consumption fields. For example, for consumption-relevant fields, you can select the Date and Time fields. Select the Assign button. These selections are only  consumption-relevant and will not involve the remaining balance calculations. Another type is from entitlement attributes. For example, let's use the search query quantity. Select a quantity field, which is a standard field used for all entitlements. Select the assign button. The quantity field displays in the fields column. Select the assign button again. Then you can select a consumption field which belongs to a specific entitlement model. Then assign the consumption form to that entitlement. Select the create button in the footer. The entitlement details page reflects how the system can leverage this consumption record. The consumption form also supports the edit, copy, and delete operations. Note that if the consumption form is being used by another configuration or entitlement, then it cannot be deleted.
