Let's begin by creating an offering to entitlement mapping. We'll search using an offering code for a specific offering. For example, we'll enter a search for the offering code TG70, which is a mapping belonging to a 3D printer subscription. The entitlement model code and entitlement model name represent the offering that the customer is entitled to. This information is displayed in the Offerings view only. Select the Create button on the bottom of the page to create an offering to entitlement mapping. The system navigates to the new offering to entitlement mapping screen. Select the Add button. The select entitlement mode page displays multiple entitlement models to choose from. Choose one or multiple entitlement models using the value help. We'll choose one and select the select button. We return to the new offering to entitlement mapping page, displaying the standard and additional attributes for the selected entitlement model. Select and maintain the appropriate standard and additional attributes. You can choose between the following two types of attributes. You can select Static Value. In this case, you either select a value or manually enter one, depending on the type of attribute. Or you can choose mapping from the inbound interface. In this case, you choose a value from the dropdown list that comes from the predefined inbound interface. We will enter a short calculation formula in the calculation fields. If you want to assign a value to an entitlement attribute based on a different condition, or the value of the entitlement attribute needs to be calculated from a formula, select the Enable Conditional Value checkbox. You can then add multiple if then clauses to assign value to attributes. The system will execute if then clause and sequence. Once you've entered your values, select the Create button under the conditional value assignment to create a single If-Then clause. To configure the If condition, choose any fields from the entitlement generation inbound message as condition. You can also choose fields from the entitlement generation inbound message as the compared value. For date and numeric field types, you can configure a formula as compared value. You can configure multiple conditions and use And or Or to link them. You can also configure no condition to indicate the corresponding Then script always applies. To configure Then as a value assignment, select the Step 2 button. Choose any free defined attributes from the selected entitlement model of this mapping. You can also choose fields from the entitlement generation inbound message as an assigned value. For date and numeric attribute types, you can configure a formula as an assigned value. Select the Create button. After you save the If-Then clause, you can select the Edit button under the conditional value assignment to make edits. Select the Edit Execution Sequence to adjust the sequence of multiple clauses. To delete a single If-Then clause, select the clause and select the Delete button below the conditional value assignment. The default status of each entitlement model is active. You can select the Edit button to deactivate or make other changes to the entitlement model. You can review the new offering to entitlement mapping in the item window. In this scenario, the condition reads the document type is ZOR or Header Sales Organization, then it equals Sales Demo Org. The Valid To is one year later, and the Quantity is Item Admin Users Max Allowed. By default, the status is active. Select the Edit button to make changes. You can change it to Inactive, among other editing options. You may also copy an entitlement mapping or any other mapping. Select the Delete button if no entitlement has been generated.
