Maintaining Site Groups

Overview of Application

SAP Order Management for sourcing and availability Sourcing UI allows a user to view, create or Maintain Site groups through the Site Management Option.

The Site group usually represents a Sourcing Network or List of Sites which can be sourced of Orders. Site groups are assigned to Sourcing Strategies.

SAP Order Management for sourcing and availability has two type of Sites:

  • Distribution Center
  • Stores

A site group can be form of DCs, Stores or a combination of both.

Through the Site Management function a user can:

  • View Site Group Details
  • Edit an existing Site group to add or remove Sites from the Site Group
  • Create a New Site Group
  • Delete an existing Site Group.

List of Site Groups

SAP Order Management for sourcing and availability Site Management initial screen provides a List of available Site groups.

Below Site groups a user can also see also the List of all available Sites (DCs and Stores) in SAP Order Management for sourcing and availability.

The Sites are shown with Address Attributes and Maximum Capacity.

From this screen a user can also initiate the creation of a new Site group.

View Site Group Details/Delete Site Group

From the Site Management initial screen a user can see details of a particular Site group by clicking the arrow next to the Site group.

The details includes:

  • Site group Name
  • List of Distribution centers included in the Site group
  • List of Stores included in the Site group
  • The Sourcing Strategies associated to the Site group

From this Screen a user can rename the Site group.

From this screen a user can also Delete the Site group by clicking the Delete group button.

Edit an Existing Site Group

The Edit function allows a user to add or remove Sites from the Site group by flagging new sites or unflagging existing sites.

From the Site group details screen, a user can Edit the Site group by clicking the Edit Button.

Create Site Groups

From the Site group details screen, a user can create a Site group by clicking the Create Site group button.

A user needs to enter the Site group Name and Click next to select the DCs and Stores they want to include in the Site group.
