Responsibility Management

Responsibility Management in SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Responsibility Management enables you to flexibly define "responsible people" who are automatically notified about events that require their attention, so an appropriate resolution can be implemented. You define teams and add members that are responsible for one or more business processes. Each team member (agent) is responsible for performing certain tasks and are assigned functions that describe their work tasks. Responsibility Management works in combination with the Situation Handling Framework to support the end-to-end process of alerting a responsible person to a situation. Situation Handling will be discussed in the next lesson.

Responsibility Management (1NJ) is a business process from SAP Signavio Process Navigator that must be enabled using the set-up instructions and test script for the customer's SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition systems. The Manage Teams and Responsibilities app is used to create and manage teams, responsibility definitions, and team member functions. The teams and responsibilities you define here can be used to determine who is responsible for handling a situation or tasks in a custom business workflow.
