In Customizing, you can define the change processes you want to perform in the Business Transactions Maintenance Framework (BTMF).
SPRO → Service → Transactions → Settings for Subscription Transactions → Contract Changes.
Detailed explanations can be found in the Implementation Guide (IMG) documentation and the F1 helps of the single fields.

Define Change Process:
- Predefined change processes are delivered. In addition, own change processes can be defined.
- The BTMF scenario defines which transactions a change process is valid for. Scenario PROVIDER describes that a change process is valid for subscription contracts.
- The process type defines how the change process is executed, for example, ISTA: contract change with change order.
- The change process logic is implemented in the change process implementation class.
- BRF+ functions can be used to control which processes can be executed.
Define Scenario Specific Attributes:
You can specify additional attributes for the process according to the scenario selected. Views, which are to be displayed when the change process is performed, can be assigned for change processes with the PROVIDER scenario.
Define Process Views:
Views, which are to be displayed when the change process is performed, can be assigned for change processes with the PROVIDER scenario.
Activate Change Process:
When the change processes have been defined, you activate them by entering them in the Activate Change Process section.
