The Change Process Customizing

The image provides instructions for setting up the Business Transactions Maintenance Framework (BTMF) in SAP, specifically for activating change processes in subscription contracts. It includes a navigation path and a screenshot of the IMG (Implementation Guide) structure.

In Customizing, you can define the change processes you want to perform in the Business Transactions Maintenance Framework (BTMF).

SPROServiceTransactionsSettings for Subscription TransactionsContract Changes.

Detailed explanations can be found in the Implementation Guide (IMG) documentation and the F1 helps of the single fields.

The image shows a software interface for defining change processes, including various process types and attributes, with a description explaining that change processes are scenario-specific, implemented via a process class, and controlled by a BRF+ function. The interface allows defining process views and activating change processes.

Define Change Process:

  • Predefined change processes are delivered. In addition, own change processes can be defined.
  • The BTMF scenario defines which transactions a change process is valid for. Scenario PROVIDER describes that a change process is valid for subscription contracts.
  • The process type defines how the change process is executed, for example, ISTA: contract change with change order.
  • The change process logic is implemented in the change process implementation class.
  • BRF+ functions can be used to control which processes can be executed.

Define Scenario Specific Attributes:

You can specify additional attributes for the process according to the scenario selected. Views, which are to be displayed when the change process is performed, can be assigned for change processes with the PROVIDER scenario.

Define Process Views:

Views, which are to be displayed when the change process is performed, can be assigned for change processes with the PROVIDER scenario.

Activate Change Process:

When the change processes have been defined, you activate them by entering them in the Activate Change Process section.
