The purpose of this course is to teach you how to implement SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Integration with Employee Central Payroll.
The following is an example of a typical business process:
- The HR specialist enters employee and employment-related data into Employee Central. Data is sent to Employee Central Payroll stored there.
- The employee enters private contact data, biographical data, and payment information in Employee Central.
- The HR specialist enters payroll-related information, for example, pay group as well as compensation information, for example, salary or pay rate, in Employee Central.
- The HR specialist typically maintains additional tax and social insurance data. The data is entered in Employee Central but saved in the SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll system.
- For every payroll period, the payroll specialist can prepare and execute all relevant payroll runs. To do this, the payroll specialist accesses the Employee Central Payroll system.
- The employee accesses the pay statement in Employee Central, which is directly taken from the Employee Central Payroll system.
- The payroll information is sent to Financials. The posting into accounting can be done automatically by using corresponding jobs if an SAP ERP Accounting system is integrated by standard SAP interface technology (ALE).
