Before implementing EC to EC Payroll Integration in SAP EC Payroll, the following configuration and customization must be completed (not covered as part of this training):
Employee Central Payroll system at latest support package level SAP_HR/EA_HR SPXX
Installed the Integration Add-On for EC Integration
SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll basic configuration setup
Administrator Access to Employee Central Payroll
- Define Settings in Personnel Administration -
The following structures must be aligned with Employee Central:
Personnel Areas, Personnel Subareas, Employee Groups, Employee Subgroups, Assignment of Personnel Areas to Company Codes, Assignment of Employee Subgroups to Employee Groups
- Basic Settings in EC and EC Payroll must match:
a) Employee Central Country Data Set Up
b) Number ranges for Personnel Numbers (including external assignment of number ranges for personnel numbers
c) Defaults for number ranges
d) Setting up Data Sharing Configuration
e) Activation of Concurrent Employment for Personnel Administration (optional)
- Create Organizational Data – Payroll Area, Control Record & Administrator
- Ensure Basic Pay and Recurring Payments/Deduction Data is aligned:
Pay components in EC need to match wage types in ECP; Pay scale structures need to match
- Define Evaluation Basis – Monitoring of tasks & Date Specifications
