The following video is a short introduction to integrated planning with SAP Analytics Cloud.

Prerequisites for Integrated Planning with SAP Business Warehouse

There are a few prerequisites that you must be aware of before importing data from SAP Business Warehouse to SAP Analytics Cloud.

System Requirements

The source system is SAP Business Warehouse (version 7.3x or higher), or SAP BW/4HANA system (support pack 4 or higher).
The SAP Business Technology Platform Connectivity Cloud Connector is installed.
The SAP Analytics Cloud Agent is installed.

Note

Before you can import source data from SAP Business Warehouse, the system administrator must create an import connection.

SAP Analytics Cloud Integrated Planning Connections

The import and export connections that are required for implementing integrated planning with SAP Business Warehouse are created by IT Administrators. Only users with specific permissions see the Connections icon in their vertical navigation.

The connections displayed in the following images are intended to provide details on the import and export connections that are used in the practice exercises in this course.
