Event Report Descriptions and Overview

Summarizing Guided Sourcing event reports

There are many helpful event reports that are available for download within the event that analyze bids and scenarios or retain information about events.

To report on detailed event activities, such as participant report activity, Project Owners will locate the event in the system, and create a new analytical report like they would for Sourcing Project task and project data. Once the event is open via search or dashboard shortcut, they can download various event reports from the event's More Actions (…) icon.

Each event contains reports, depending on the event status.

Events that are Draft, Preview, Scheduled, and Not Created are not reportable, so only events with the following statuses will include event reports:

  • Open
  • Review
  • Pending Selection
  • Completed
  • Closed
  • Cancelled
  • Paused

Bid SummarySummary information of bids. Only the most recent bid for each participant is shown (no bid history is included). It also includes initial, historic, and reserve values and indicates incumbent suppliers.Excel

Supplier Invitation ReportExport a list of invited suppliers (participants) from an event. You can select all or any columns from the supplier information to be included in your report.Excel

Items Rank ReportRank of each participant selected for the report. You can view the leading (best bid) participant and leading incumbent participant for each item.Excel

Note

For events with more than 100 suppliers, the following reports are downloaded in XLSX format:
  • Bid History Report
  • Bid Summary Report
  • Questions and Terms Report
  • Bid Comparison Report

How to configure bid comparison reports in Guided Sourcing

A Project Owner can optionally configure a custom bid comparison report to show the values of terms and rolled-up terms, formulas, item rank, percentage differences from the lead bid, and supplier responses to your questions.
