Getting Started
Step 1: Create a Guided Sourcing Project
From the Create menu, select Guided Sourcing Project.
Step 2: Select Values for Required Fields and Determine Event Type
Once the project is opened, enter a name, description, and test project for the event. Make sure that all required header fields have values, or the sourcing project won’t be created if these fields are empty.
Event Type is a required field when Single event is selected.
Step 3: Select the Appropriate Template
The available templates at the bottom of the project creation screen depend on the value of the Event Type. To create the event, choose one of the available templates.
Template descriptions appear below the template name and help users to understand how the template affects the event settings.
The template choice can't be changed after the project is created. If the incorrect template was chosen, a replacement project must be created, and the project owner can delete the incorrect project if needed.
Summary
- On the Create Guided Sourcing Project page, specify values for all required fields marked with an asterisk.
- Click the information icon to see a description of the field.
- Fields with dropdown menus allow you to search for acceptable values.
- The Add More link allows you to select multiple values for the field.
- Based on the event type chosen, a list of templates is displayed. Select the one that fits the scenario.
