Identifying Sourcing Reporting Methods

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to identify Sourcing reporting methods

Reporting Methods for Sourcing Projects and Event Activities

There are two methods for reporting on sourcing projects and event activities:

  • Event Reports allow you to export pre-configured event data, such as header fields and bid data into Excel and PDF files. These reports reside within the guided sourcing events individually, under the More ActionsDownload report menu.A guided sourcing event's More Actions menu is open with Download report expanded and highlighted. The list of downloadable event reports is highlighted.
  • Analytical reports allow you to aggregate, drill down, and filter on supplier, project, and task data along different dimensions, including:
    • Commodities, regions, and departments
    • Project type and owner
    • Key dates such as project start and questionnaire submission dates
    • Task owner and status
The Create > Analytical Report path is displayed. The Analytical Report builder is displayed with the steps to create the report highlighted.

Play the video below to see how reports related to guided sourcing projects and events can be accessed.

Note

You do not see data in reports in real time. Your site queues a new data load six hours after the successful completion of the previous load. Because of interruptions to data loads and staggering in data load queues, it might take longer than six hours for new data to be available in reports. A ten hour interval between data loads is not unusual.
