Before we get started, have you already completed the prerequisite course?

Getting Started with Learning and Enablement in SAP Projects | SAP Learning

This prerequisite course gives you foundation level knowledge on how learning and enablement fundamentally works in SAP implementation projects. Please ensure you complete it, before we go any further.

This course is aimed at training managers responsible for SAP Learning and enablement activities in your organization.

In this course, meet Grace, she's our enablement lead. Different names for this role are; training lead, enablement project manager, or change and learning lead.

Now, we’re going to explore the topic of planning learning and enablement.

To find out more, watch the video.

Grace Lawson the Enablement Lead

Grace is the enablement lead responsible for overseeing all enablement activities, ensuring they’re aligned with the defined project objectives, and the overall project setup.

Grace has a good understanding of the organization's goals and how the SAP implementation fits into those goals. Ideally, the enablement lead should have experience of learning and enablement, in a previous role. As the enablement lead, Grace is responsible for managing the enablement activities on time, on quality, and on budget.

Case Study "BriscoBikes"

This course is based on a case study. The case study covers an SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation at a holding company called BriscoBikes Holding (BBH). BBH consists of three companies, each operating in different countries/regions or regions: BriscoBikes, THE URBAN CYCLIST, and veloREBELZ. The project follows the SAP Activate Methodology and its phases.

Realistic scenario

The course particularly focuses on learning and enablement planning.

You will get to know the companies and the key stakeholders. As you progress through the course, you will receive more pertinent information about the 4S Project. You will experience how Grace, the SAP enablement lead, handles each learning and enablement activity and challenges that arise.

Fictitious Companies and Characters

Note

The companies, events, names, and other pieces of data used in this case study are fictitious. Any similarities are purely coincidental. The same is true for all the characters appearing in the case study. Resemblance to real existing names or persons, living or dead, are coincidental.

Learning with Variety

The course content is presented to you in different ways. You will need to read information, watch videos, study charts, and check documents.

In addition, you're asked to conduct typical enablement lead tasks by completing exercises and compare your results to SAP Learning’s recommendations. This helps you reflect on your learning and teaches you how to properly apply learning and enablement practices.

At the end of each unit, short assessments help you track your learning progress.

So let's dive deeper into Grace’s world.

Introduction to the Reflection Exercise

For every lesson, you will find one or more exercises in this course.

These exercises help test your learning and enablement knowledge. They also introduce tools and templates that you can use in your own learning and enablement project.

We encourage you to complete all the exercises throughout the course. Don’t be tempted to skip exercises if you think you already know the topic or feel you’re out of your comfort zone. These exercises potentially have the most value for you.
