Presenting the User Learning Needs Analysis Results to Key Stakeholders

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to present the user learning needs analysis results to key stakeholders

The User Learning Needs Analysis Results

Reporting the LNA Results

Once the interviews are complete, the whole user LNA template should be filled out. The user LNA template should be sent to all business managers and workstream leads. They can then filter the report to their specific functional areas to see what enablement is planned for which business roles.

Present the LNA Summary Slides to Key Stakeholders

Grace knows that she must communicate the user LNA results clearly and concisely to the:

  • business managers
  • project managers
  • functional workstream leads
  • 4S project steering committee/ project sponsors

Grace creates a user LNA summary slide deck, providing a clear view of:

  • the user LNA process, assumptions, and approach
  • course list
  • example learning path
  • learning content effort calculation
  • next steps

Review Grace's slides here: Learning Needs Analysis for Users Slides Template

Grace ensures that all relevant business managers see the summary slide deck before they look at the detail in the user LNA workbook. They will be able to filter the user LNA workbook by their process area, to see the exact course list, and proposed learning content to be created.

Once the user LNA is reviewed and approved by the business, the enablement lead can then move on to the detailed content development and delivery work.
