In addition to the master data originating from SAP ERP, there are specific master data objects unique to SAP Returnable Packaging Management, which are created directly within SAP Returnable Packaging Management:
- Processor: The responsible user in SAP Returnable Packaging Management.
- Returnable Packaging Account: The central master data object in SAP Returnable Packaging Management that supports different processes.
- Processor:
- Template File: ProcessorTemplate
- Description: Upload data for users responsible for returnable packaging accounts, including their name, e-mail, phone number, and so on.
- Returnable Packaging Account:
Template File: AccountTemplate
The template includes three sheets as follows:
- The "help" sheet: Provides an explanation of the different fields used in the upload file and their possible values.
- The "GeneralInformation" sheet: A mandatory sheet that includes all attributes of the returnable packaging, such as general information, planning data, rental attributes, and so on.
- The "AdditionalPartner" sheet: Used to upload secondary relationships. The "Reference" column present in both the "GeneralInformation" and "AdditionalPartner" sheets aids in mapping records between the two tables.
- Description: Generally, a returnable packaging account can be created directly or by copying an existing one using the Manage Returnable Accounts app. However, for project activities that require the creation of packaging accounts in bulk, the Upload Data app can be used. Note that each account activation must be handled individually.
Once the returnable packaging accounts are activated, you can confidently execute basic scenarios, such as closed-loop with suppliers or customers, using the Manage Returnable Packaging Accounts app.
