Material/ Product
When you enter or upload the list of products with the plant and new profit centers into an inactive organizational change, the system performs several checks, such as:
- Existence of Product in plant
- Profit Center valid and fitting to the product plant
- Objects aren't blocked by another active organizational change

Dependent objects are:
- Sales Documents with the same Profit Center
- Purchase Order Items with the same profit center and without CO-Object assignment
- Production / Process Orders, Product Cost Collector
When simulating, activating, or processing the Organizational Change, the system identifies the dependent objects (dark blue colors) and adds them to the runtime tables.
When simulating or processing, the system also creates transfer postings (grey colors) related to the identified objects. This is the same for all the images in the lesson.
Projects and WBS Elements (EPPM)
You enter the project header and all lower-level WBS elements with the same profit center are identified automatically
If the header profit center is not used in lower-level WBS elements, then the user needs to enter a WBS element with a new profit center in the "Manage Organizational Change" app.
All WBS elements hierarchically below that carry the same old profit center are identified automatically.
The list of WBS elements can be entered manually or uploaded as a file.

Beside the object dependency within the project hierarchy, the following object types are dependent objects:
- Assigned Purchase Document Items with the same Profit Center as the WBS Element,
- Sales Document Items with the same Profit Center,
- Fixed Assets and Assets under Construction (not in Public Cloud).
Orders
Production Orders, Process Orders and Product Cost Collectors are automatically identified by their product, if they use the same profit center. In case these orders have a deviating profit center assigned, a user can enter orders in the app "Manage Organizational Changes" and assign a new profit center.
Maintenance Order can be a root object or a dependent object from cost center.
Other orders, e.g. QM orders, internal orders are main object and need to be entered in the app "Manage Organizational Changes" (not compatible with the Public Cloud).

The following object types are dependent objects:
- Assigned Purchase Document Items with the same Profit Center
- Sales Document Items with the same Profit Center
- Fixed Assets and Assets under Construction (not in the Public Cloud)
The following objects are out of scope for the Public Cloud.
Project Networks, Network Activity, and Activity Elements
Networks, Network Activities, and Activity Elements inherit their profit center from the higher-level WBS element. Therefore, these objects are considered dependent objects and added automatically to the Organizational Change scope.
In case the profit center is not inherited but adjusted for these objects, the user can maintain them in the app Manage Organizational Changes as root objects.

Dependent objects to Networks, Network Activities, and Activity Elements are the purchasing document items.
Cost Centers
Cost Centers are the only master data, where a new profit center can be assigned via the creation of a new validity period using the master data maintenance app (like Manage Cost Centers).
The system automatically adds the cost center and new profit center assignment to the work list (runtime) tables of the organizational change.
Cost centers don't need to be entered in the "Manage Organizational Change" app.

Dependent Objects are:
- Fixed Assets
- Assigned Purchase Document Items.
Fixed Asset as Dependent Object
Fixed Assets are identified by the assigned CO object. This can be a cost center, an internal order, a WBS element, an investment or maintenance order, or an investment WBS element.
Assets are usually identified via their cost center. As soon as a new validity period with a changed profit center is created for a cost center, all assigned fixed assets are automatically considered for the reorganization.
If the asset is not assigned to a cost center but to another cost object, then the asset is derived automatically when adding this cost object to the organizational change.
If an asset has multiple cost objects assigned, all cost objects need to be considered for the organizational change in order to ensure a consistent profit center assignment across all objects.

Dependent objects to a fixed asset are the purchasing document items.
Sequence of Asset Derivation from CO-Objects (which is relevant for assets with multiple assignments):
- Cost Center
- Internal Order
- Maintenance Order
- WBS Element
- Investment Order
- Investment WBS Element
Root Object Fixed Asset
An asset can have a profit center assignment without a CO-Object assignment. In this case, the asset and its profit center can't be derived from a CO-object. These assets are treated as root objects and need to be entered with their new profit center assignment into the Manage Organizational Change app.

Dependent objects to a fixed asset are the purchasing document items.
Real Estate Contracts
Real estate contracts for leasing are identified and adjusted by the organizational change automatically.

Dependent objects to Real Estate Contracts are the purchasing document items.
Settlement Receiver CO-PA
The Profitability Object stores the profit center of the sending object. Organizational change updates the profit center in the sender object. In this case, the profit center of the sender and the receiver wouldn't match. The system automatic creates a new profitability object with the new profit center as well as a new settlement rule starting the period of the effective date of the organizational change.
