The Data Action Performance Statistics and Analysis tool is a predefined story by SAP to analyze the duration of data actions in planning stories by model, user, and date range.
The goal is to enable you to:
- Review KPIs for the data actions
- Detect patterns and trends in the execution history
- Analyze single data actions that have been triggered
Access the Tool
You can launch the tool by going to System → Performance → Data Action Statistics and Analysis as shown here.

Overview
The Overview page shows various KPIs for the data actions. In the filter section, you can limit the KPI information to a date range, specific model, and data storage.

Statistics
On the Statistics page you can detect patterns and trends in the execution history and analyze single data actions that have been triggered.
The data can be limited by date range, model name, user name, data action, where the data action is triggered from (for example, a calendar task), triggered by, and data storage.
The Execution Count and Maximum Data Action Duration is a time series chart that shows the execution count and maximum data action duration in milliseconds for the selected filters.
From the Data Action Statistics and Analysis table, select the entry to analyze and scroll down to Data Action Analysis.

Once you have selected the single entry that you want to analyze, the two tables at the bottom of the page refresh for detailed analysis of the data action. The Data Action Step Overview table on the left shows the status and step overview with each step's timestamp and the Duration per Status table on the right shows the duration for each of the steps, both measured in milliseconds.
