The Data Management Jobs Statistics and Analysis tool opens a predefined story, where you can analyze all of the jobs that are happening in your SAP Analytics Cloud system, both export and import jobs to models and public dimensions.
Access the Tool
You can launch the tool by going to System → Performance → Data Management Jobs Statistics and Analysis as shown here.
Overview
The Overview page provides a snapshot of the important KPIs for import jobs to models and dimensions. You can see totals at a glance along with top 10 charts for duration. The story has detailed filter capability to analyze specific details such as time, dimension, or measures to help you to identify problematic data import jobs.
Model - Job Analysis
The Jobs and Max Duration (s) per Date chart allows you to monitor the historic trend of jobs and their maximum duration. You can also check whether a specific job or model was always a long running job or if it followed a specific pattern over time.
In the Job Execution Overview table, all job instances are listed in descending order by job duration (last column on the right). Clicking on a job in this table will filter the Job Execution Details table to that specific instance where you can view additional details.
Public Dimension - Job Analysis
The third page of the tool is dedicated to import jobs to public dimensions. Again, you can filter or click specific dates or jobs to view information on the job execution or job details.
