If you are enabled to use Spot Buy, when you search for an item, the results page is divided into two tabs – Company Catalog and Spot Buy Catalog.
The Company Catalog tab displays goods from sourced suppliers and suppliers that your organization has under contract. If no items are displayed on the Company Catalog tab, a carousel is displayed at the bottom of this tab showing products matching your search description that can be purchased through Spot Buy. The Spot Buy Catalog tab provides more search results when you are unable to find what you need inside your company catalog.
Filter tabs for enabled marketplaces are available on the upper right of the search results page, under Search In. You can choose a marketplace filter tab to filter only items from that marketplace. You can use the filter options below the filter tab to further refine your search. The following screenshot shows the filter tab for Amazon Business in SAP Ariba Buying and SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing:
Various filter options are available on the Spot Buy Catalog tab. Some filter options, such as Price, Location, or Seller Name are always available, and some depend on either the characteristics of the product you are buying or your group membership and your organization's Spot Buy configuration. When refinements are made to a catalog search, a list of selected refinements is displayed at the top of the Spot Buy Catalog search results page. Select Clear Refinements to return the Spot Buy Catalog search results page to the state it was in before you selected refinements.
