SAP Entitlement Management is a multitenant SaaS offering that you can deploy on any system architecture. It has three main modules:
- Entitlement modeling, where there’s the definition of new entitlements and their assignment to different offerings
- Entitlement lifecycle management, where there's support for any activity that can affect these entitlements, for example, status changes and bumps to splits, version changes, and renewals
- Entitlement repository, a hub where you can access current and historical information on the customer, entitlement and product
In addition to imbedded analytics and user administration, these modules are supported by default integration with SAP S/4HANA sales order management systems and an extensive services infrastructure using APIs. This structure enables the system to easily communicate with other sales order management systems, licensing, provisioning, consumption, services, and fulfillment systems.
