Use these steps to cancel an in-progress supplier registration. Canceling a registration removes the current registration project and returns the supplier to Not Invited registration status so that you can start a new registration. It also allows you to convert an external registration to an internal one or the other way around.

Canceling an in-progress registration removes the current registration project from the supplier, including any data collected in questionnaires and activity history.Prerequisites
- To cancel a supplier registration, you must be a member of the Supplier Registration Manager or SM Ops Administrator group.
- The supplier must be private (not linked to an SAP Business Network account) and have a registration status of:
Registration Type Registration Status Internal Invited, In Registration, Pending Resubmit, or Pending Approval External, and the supplier has never been public Invited External, and the supplier was previously public, but a customer administrator in your organization has unlinked the supplier from their SAP Business Network account Invited, In Registration, Pending Resubmit, or Pending Approval - Regardless of the registration type or status, you can't cancel a supplier registration if the supplier has:
- One or more imported qualifications
- One or more imported qualification processes or qualification process projects
Business Scenario
NSM Global is taking a phased approach to registering new suppliers. One supplier, ABC Company, was incorrectly invited to register during the wrong invitation period. Supplier manager Amy Chen needs to cancel the in-progress registration so ABC Company can be reinvited at the appropriate time.

Steps
On the Supplier Management dashboard, locate the supplier whose registration you want to cancel.
Choose the supplier's name to open their profile.
Perform one of the following actions to open the Registration detail area of the supplier's profile:
- In the classic supplier 360° profile, choose Registration in the left-hand navigation bar.
- In the supplier's profile summary, choose the registration status link in the Supplier Status panel.
Choose Cancel.
Enter a message explaining the cancellation.
Choose Confirm.
Result
The current registration project is permanently removed, with the following results:
- The supplier returns to Not Invited registration status, and a supplier registration manager can start a new internal or external registration for them.
- Any active tasks are withdrawn.
- The canceled registration project is removed from your site, including in the Activity log detail area of the supplier's profile, the Registration tile on the Supplier Management dashboard of the registration owner, and the project search on the Home dashboard.
- Data in internal questionnaires that have already been submitted is removed.
- Data from the canceled registration is no longer included in analytical reports or supplier data snapshots.
