Explaining the Registration Detail Area in Supplier Profiles

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain the features of the Registration detail area in supplier profiles

The Registration Detail Area

Every supplier profile includes a Registration detail area, whether or not the supplier is registered. You start, view, and manage registrations, including internal profile questionnaires, in the Registration detail area.

An example of the Registration detail area in a supplier’s profile.

Once the registration process has started for a supplier, the Registration detail area includes the following information:

  1. A registration summary, including who invited the supplier to register and on what date, the invited supplier contact, and their e-mail address.
  2. A Process Flow area showing the registration project workflow. The currently active step is highlighted in blue, while completed steps are highlighted in green. Once registration tasks have started, they show in the process flow with the names of the people or groups responsible for completing them. You can choose a task node to see a complete list of approvers or task owners, including a list of group members when the approver or task owner is a project group.

For new registrations, the process flow shows all tasks associated with the registration. For registration updates, if your site uses tasks in one or more registration update phases, the process flow shows only the steps related to the most recently updated questionnaire.

  3. A Questionnaires table with all the internal and external questionnaires included in the registration.
  4. A Tasks table with all the To Do and approval tasks associated with the registration.
  5. In sites that include approval tasks for registration updates, an alert message includes the name of any updated questionnaires with pending approvals.

If you have permission, you can do the following things in the Registration detail area:

  • Invite or reinvite a new supplier to register.
  • Start an internal registration on behalf of a supplier.
  • If the status tracker for e-mail notifications feature (SM-5116) is enabled in your site, see whether registration invitations were sent or were undeliverable. The status tracker only tracks e-mail notifications to supplier contacts in external registrations. It doesn't track notifications to internal recipients of external questionnaires in internal registrations.

    Note

If this feature is enabled, the date of re-invitation doesn't update once the supplier is public.
  • Track the progress of the registration in the Process Flow graph.
  • View internal and external registration questionnaire answers in the Questionnaires table.
  • Fill out and submit internal registration questionnaires in the Questionnaires table if you have the appropriate permissions.
  • View all tasks associated with the registration in the Tasks table and view the details of completed tasks.
  • Complete any standalone To Do tasks to which you've been assigned.
  • Cancel the registration if it's in progress and meets the prerequisites for cancellation.
  • Approve or deny the registration if you're in the approval flow.
  • Restart a denied registration.
  • Reassign external questionnaires in a completed registration so a different recipient can update them.
  • For registrations upgraded to the latest version of the project template at least once, view registrations based on previous template versions, including the questionnaires, tasks, and process flows for those previous versions.
  • Invite the supplier to participate in an internal registration.
