You can add, edit, or delete a supplier contact in the supplier 360° profile or when inviting a supplier to a questionnaire.
Adding Supplier Contacts
Adding a supplier contact makes them available for event or questionnaire invitations. If you add the first contact to a supplier 360° profile, that contact automatically becomes the primary supplier contact. The primary supplier contact is the default recipient for all external questionnaires.
Note
Although there is no limit to the number of contacts you can add to a supplier, a maximum of 1000 active contacts per supplier is made available for searching, in no particular order or priority, and with no guarantee that one of those 1000 contacts is the primary contact. Only contacts that are made available for searching show in lists of available contacts during questionnaire or sourcing event invitations and other workflows that involve contact selection or can be used in supplier searches.Editing Supplier Contacts
Editing a supplier contact allows you to provide the most current information for the contact. Once a supplier contact is linked to an SAP Business Network account, the contact maintains some of their own data in their SAP Business Network profile, but you can continue to manage other information such as their contact type and whether they’re the primary contact.
Deleting Supplier Contacts
Deleting a supplier contact permanently removes it from the supplier. Deleted supplier contacts can no longer be invited to questionnaires or events. If you want to delete a supplier's current primary contact, you must first add or edit another contact to make them the primary contact instead. Once you've removed the primary designation from a contact, you can delete it.
