When to Use the Modular Questionnaire Process

Modular Supplier Management Questionnaires

You can use modular supplier management questionnaires to collect information from suppliers in modular units.

  • Designed to ask limited sets of related questions about specific subjects

Unlike other supplier management projects, administrators can create multiple modular questionnaire templates in your site. Each modular questionnaire:

  • Has its own approval flow
  • Can be set to expire, with corresponding notifications
  • Can allow a recipient to update their responses

Creating Modular Supplier Management Questionnaires

There are two ways to create a modular questionnaire project:

Inviting suppliers to stand-alone questionnairesCreating or renewing process projects (in sites where the process project feature is enabled)
  • Creates separate projects that store information independently from core supplier management processes
  • Can be sent to external recipients only
  • May be sent to multiple suppliers in a single invitation process
  • Creates projects that are linked to process projects
  • May be sent to internal or external recipients
  • For external questionnaires, can only select contacts from the one supplier associated with the project
