Performing New with Dependencies (Advanced) Copy of a Planning Area

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to perform New with Dependencies copy

New with Dependencies Copy

New with Dependencies copy of a planning area creates a new planning area with new master data types, time profile as specified by user. Any changes to the source planning area such as master data type changes do not affect the new (target) planning area.

When you use advanced copy, it is also possible to filter for partial copy. In this way, you can create a copy of a planning area for selected processes.
