Analytics | The Analytics application gives you a detailed view of all reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and provides a chart creation tool. It enables you to customize the display of data (visualizations), whether in a chart, bar graph, or data set. You can create visualizations from various sources, including importing them from SAP Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), from your company network, or from your items. | |

Statistical Forecasting | ||
Manage Forecast Models | The Manage Forecast Models application allows you to create and edit models that form the basis for forecasting in SAP Integrated Business Planning for demand. Based on the planning areas you define in the Configuration application, you can specify parameters such as the input and output key figures and the past and future time horizons of forecasting. You can also choose the required algorithms and error measures for each model. The algorithms are used by the system to prepare data and calculate forecasts. If you select more than one algorithm for a model, you can specify how the system uses it. | |

Change History Analysis | Change history tracks changes to stored key figures and their dependent calculated key figures. You can view the change history in the Change History application, which you can access by clicking the corresponding tile in the launchpad. | |
Custom Alerts | ||
Define and Subscribe to Custom Alerts | You can use the Define and Subscribe to Custom Alerts application to create alert definitions and set the conditions (rules) for when alert definitions are triggered. The alert definition contains the metrics (key figures) that measure the impact of unexpected situations on your business. You can create an alert for your own use, or you can share alert definitions with other users or roles. | |
Monitor Custom Alerts | You can use the Monitor Custom Alerts application to display all of the alerts to which you have subscribed. It shows the relative impacts and visualizations associated with those alerts. |
Personalizing the SAP Fiori Launchpad Home Page
The launchpad opens a home page that contains predefined content, which is divided into groups. Each group contains tiles that represent business applications. The user clicks or taps a tile to launch the underlying application. You can personalize the launchpad home page by managing groups, managing the tiles in each group, and setting a theme for the home page.
The first group, My Home, is the default group, and there may be additional groups defined by the administrator. The user can also create new groups and manage the existing groups. Users can rearrange tiles in a group by dragging tiles to a new location in a group or by moving a tile to another group. To make changes to the home page, click or tap the Personalize Home page button.
The following table describes the actions you can perform in action mode:
Action Mode
Action | Description |
---|---|
Remove a tile | Choose the cross at the top right corner of the tile. |
Add a tile | The launchpad provides a tile catalog which displays all the tiles that are available to a user. In the group to which you want to add a tile, choose Open App Finder to open the tile catalog. In addition, you can add tiles to a specific group by saving a running SAP Fiori application as a tile. |
Rename a tile | Choose the menu on the tile and choose Edit Tile Information. A dialog box appears in which you provide a new title. You can also provide a subtitle and additional information. |
Move a tile | Click the menu on the tile and choose Move. The Move to Group dialog box appears, allowing you to select the group to which the tile will be moved. You can also drag tiles directly to the new location. |
