- License and Cost:
SAP Cloud ALM is included in SAP Enterprise Support and Subscription and as for a typical SaaS offering the maintenance and operations is done by SAP. A fair usage of 24 GB of HANA memory is included as well as an API usage of 24 GB outbound data transfer per month.
Hint
To better support modern monitoring scenarios and larger landscapes, SAP has increased the base and extension memory from 8 GB to 24 GB since January 21, 2026.

- SAP Cloud ALM for Operations is a cloud-native, customer owned SaaS application. The software has an integrated daily delivery of software changes, which are rapidly available. SAP Cloud ALM has a bi-weekly release of new features, which are documented in the What's new in SAP Cloud ALM section on SAP Help Portal.
