IT Administrators, Data Administrators, or Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Administrators are responsible for the configuration and setup of software applications, and the availability of consistent data across multi-system landscapes.
The SAP Responsible Design and Production solution can be integrated with SAP ERP systems, such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC), and third-party systems via the SAP Responsible Design and Production Integration Accelerator. This can be done as part of an integration package with predefined integration content (compatibility of integration package depending on system release), custom implementation, or data import via predefined Excel templates. Standard integration for SAP S/4HANA is currently a roadmap item.

Administrators configure system connectivity settings in SAP Responsible Design and Production, collect the necessary business data, and import the Excel file templates (if data is manually uploaded) to SAP Responsible Design and Production. Administrators also manage data access and resolve data issues, such as incorrect file types, corrupt files, or missing or inconsistent data.
