Generating EPR Reports

A report category is a set of requirements for reports that is based on the regulations of governmental or other public entities. For example, if you need to provide the packaging report Afvalfonds Verpakkingen (Netherlands), you need to enable the report category for the Netherlands. Once the report category is enabled, the report expert can start configuring the individual report. The report category is a prerequisite for the report configuration.

The report configuration contains detailed information. That could be, for example, the part of your organization or the type of deliveries that should be considered. You might want to create a report for the part of the company that produces beverages only. Or you might want to make sure that returns are excluded from the report, because returns are products that are not considered to be delivered to customers, so they don't need to be declared.

1. Enable the report category that you require for your report. The administrator does this in the Enable Report Categories application.
2. Configure the report. The report expert does this in the Configure Reports application.
3. Generate the report. The report expert does this in the Run Compliance Reports application.
4. View the report. The report expert does this in the Run Compliance Reports application. You can also get an analytical overview of the data in the Analyze EPR Data application.
