Project and Teams Setup

This step includes the following details:

An implementation based on SAP Activate Methodology.
A solution-specific roadmap selection, which includes generated templated tasks.
Tasks organized by phase and deliverables, which includes accelerators.
Template tasks automatically assigned to roles.
An integration with SAP Central Business Configuration activities for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Note

Template Task is an activity that a project member executes. You predefine it in SAP Activate.

Project and Task Management

Project Management contains:

Definition of teams and roles.
Scheduling through timeboxes and releases.
Agile methodology using sprints.
Tag management.

Task Management contains:

Creation and execution of project tasks.
Assignment to scope, teams, roles, assignees, and tags.
Personalized views and mass change.

Note

Project Task is an activity that a project member executes. You create it manually.

Create a Project

Business Scenario

In your role as project lead, you are asked to set up a new SAP Implementation project in SAP Cloud ALM.

Task Flow

In this exercise, you perform the following steps:

Create a new project.
Use SAP Activate Roadmap to create template tasks.
Define the access level.
