Understanding Required Permissions and Path of Invoice Provider ACH

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to define required permissions and path of Invoice provider ACH.

Necessary Credentials

The first step in configuring Invoice Provider ACH is to add at least one funding account. First, we look at what permissions are required for a user to add an account. Then, we see where in the system that user would go to add an account.

Permissions

Users must be assigned the Invoice Payment Manager role to configure Invoice Provider ACH.

Accessing the Funding Accounts Area

Location to Add a Funding Account

Follow the steps in this process to access the area to enter an Invoice Provider ACH funding account.

Steps

  1. Access the Invoice Tools.

    Select the Invoice tab to access the Invoice Administration Tools.

    Select Invoice from the Home menu.

  2. Access the Payment Manager Tools.

    Select Payment Manager from the Payments dropdown menu.

    Select Payment Manager from the Payments menu.

  3. Access the Funding Accounts Area.

    Select Funding Accounts to access the funding accounts area.

    Select Funding Accounts from the left side of the screen.

  4. Create a New Funding Account.

    Select the New Provider Account button to create a new funding account.

    Select New Provider Account on the right side of the screen.

Result

The form used to enter the information about the funding account appears. The next lesson will go into this form, and its required fields, in detail.

Funding Account page is displayed. Enter the information and select Next to proceed.
