Experience DevOps in Action with SAP BTP

Get an introduction to the recommended approach to apply DevOps principles on SAP BTP - and see it live in action, across all relevant phases. First, we show you how to verify your developer changes with an automated build and test pipeline (provided by SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery service). Next, via an automated handover from the pipeline into transport and change management, you experience the value that central management of your changes provides in enterprise environments (enabled by SAP Cloud Transport Management service and SAP Cloud ALM for Implementation). Finally, you learn how to reduce your manual operation efforts by automating recurring operation tasks (covering SAP Cloud ALM for Operations in interplay with SAP Automation Pilot service).

After participating in this live session, you will have an insight into the integrated end-to-end DevOps offering, provided by a holistic demo of the DevOps-related SAP BTP services, covering the lifecycle of an exemplary SAP BTP app, based on the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model on SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry. This will help you understand how to set up an efficient and enterprise-ready development process on SAP BTP, for example to build extensions on the platform in the context of RISE.
