SAP S/4HANA Service - Configuring Service Order Quotations and Service Orders

In this live session, we will cover the configuration of service order quotations and service orders in SAP S/4HANA Service. Participants will learn how to set up transaction types, item categories, and related settings to support key service processes. The session will explain how service items, service parts, expense items, and sales items are represented and processed within service orders and quotations, and how they integrate with logistics processes such as ATP checks, deliveries, goods issues, and billing. We will also explore how planning-relevant data such as responsible service groups, required resources, and durations are managed, and how higher-level and lower-level item relationships can be configured to support hierarchical service order structures
