Do I need to enter my SAP user ID when registering for an SAP Certification exam?

Certification exams are available online 24/7 and each exam is proctored remotely. You can take exams anywhere in the world as long as you have an Internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure you are in a quiet and secure location. We do not allow exams in public locations where others are within speaking distance or may be able to walk into the room, have access to your computer, or where you can become distracted while taking your exam. You must be in a room alone throughout the course of your exam.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our proctors will ask that you rotate your webcam prior to beginning your exam. Please ensure your computer area contains only permitted items approved by your exam sponsor for the area. Any whiteboards or bulletin boards must be cleared, erased or covered. If they are to your back they are exempt from this rule. Any cell phones, tablets, or other communication or recording devices must be removed from the computer area.&nbsp;&nbsp;Only one screen may be active during your exam session.&nbsp; If you use more than one monitor, they need to be disconnected and turned facing away from you. At least 24 hours prior to your exam, test your system using the System Test provided on the home page of the SAP Certification Hub. The link will be provided after you purchase your exam. How do I test my system and prepare my equipment? 

You can set your local time zone in Certification Hub by:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ol><li>Clicking My Account&nbsp;</li></ol>&nbsp;Setting your local time zone is important because it will affect the exam appointment times available to you.&nbsp; If you do not set your local time zone, then the system will default to using the UTC time zone and all dates-times will presented as UTC.&nbsp;

How and where can I set my time zone in Certification Hub?

You need to use your SAP user ID credentials (username and password) to log on to the system. Your photo ID will be also checked by the remote proctor before you take your exam.&nbsp;You will be required to present two forms of valid identification (cannot be expired). Both pieces of ID must bear your name and signature, and at least one must be a valid government-issued photo ID. What is needed to identify myself for an SAP Certification exam so that the proctor knows it is me and not someone else?

How do I get help if I encounter a technical problem during my exam? 

Technical problems can occur. Proctors will do their best to resolve them in a timely fashion and to reduce the impact on your ability to perform on the exam.  If during the exam you encounter a computer malfunction or lose your internet connection, please follow these guidelines:&nbsp;<ol><li>Don't panic. Leave your computer as is and check your power supplies, network cables, and any other physical resources that may have cause the loss of connection.&nbsp;</li><li>When the proctor detects that you have lost your connection, the proctor will automatically pause the exam to preserve its integrity.&nbsp;</li><li>If you are able to re-establish the connection without shutting down your computer, then it should be possible to communicate with the proctor again and for the proctor to unlock your exam so you may resume.&nbsp;</li><li>If you are unable to re-establish connection after 5 minutes, the proctor is required to cancel the exam attempt. What do I do if my computer crashes or I lose connection while taking an exam? 

No, it is not possible to take a break during the exam. However, if an urgent matter or technical problem arises, you should immediately communicate with your proctor by chat or audio.

What accessibility options are available for my exam? 

Before you begin the exam, you will get the option to choose your exam language. Then you can choose your exam language. Your proctor will also assist you in choosing your exam language before the exam begins. Exam proctors speak English only.&nbsp;&nbsp;

How and when do I choose the exam language?

The translation tool only supports the 8 languages Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. Please note that using the machine translation function is purely voluntary and not at all required. My exam did not launch. What should I do?

Please note that you can take the same exam up to three times. If you fail an exam, you may schedule another attempt by creating a new appointment.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you have failed an exam three times for the same version, you will have to wait until a new version is released. This limitation applies to all subscriptions you have purchased and is cross-checked. Each finished attempt is deducted from your license.

How often can I take an exam? 

An attempt will be deducted each time you successfully submit an exam.&nbsp;An attempt will NOT be deducted under these circumstances:&nbsp;<ul><li>The proctor has to pause your exam and it cannot be resumed.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>You lose internet connectivity midway through the exam and are unable to reconnect in time to resume the exam.&nbsp;</li><li>If an error or technical problems prevent you from completing the exam.&nbsp;</li></ul>In the event of any technical issues preventing you from completing your exam, your proctor will advise you to schedule a new attempt at another time, after the issue has been resolved. If you believe an attempt was deducted in error, please contact <a href="mailto:sapcertification@questionmark.com">sapcertification@questionmark.com</a>.
