Adding a New Facet to the Storefront in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hi. In this video, I'll show you how to add a new facet to the search results page in your online stores. For that, I'll use the adaptive search perspective in the SAP back office cockpit. First, I'll log into back office with my administrator credentials. Then I'll switch to the adaptive search perspective and select an index configuration. The fields index type and catalog version are going to be filled automatically. All I have to do is select the search profile on the left in the category section. Please note that global is selected. Therefore, whatever I do with the facets will affect the whole site rather than just a particular product category. On the right in the facets tab, you can see all the facets that are already visible in the storefront. In the defaults section. Next, a lot of facet to that list. I'll click the Create New Item button and start typing stock level status. The system auto completes the word, and I confirm by pressing enter. I'll click next and assign a priority to the facet. This will determine the order in which the facets will be displayed on the storefront. I'll click done and as expected, the facet is displayed among the other facets according to its priority value. Now let's check this on the storefront. I'll just search for something. And here's my new facet.
