Adding a Product to a Category in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hello, my name is Adam. In this video, I'll show you how to add a product to a product category in the back office product cockpit. I'll click the assortment View icon and select the staged version of the Electronics Products Catalog. At the top of the right panel, I'll click the magnifying glass icon. Now I can enter the product code of the product that I want to add to a category. Then I'll hold the alt key on my keyboard and drag the product from the right side to the product category. I want to assign it to. Actually, we're already done, but for the product to show up online in its new category, I need to synchronize the catalog versions for syncing the entire catalog. I'll make sure that the staged version of the Electronics Catalog is selected, and go to the top of the left panel and click on the synchronize button. Once the sync pop up appears, I click on my Target catalog version and then on the sync button. Synchronization may take a while because we are syncing in the entire catalog. And that's it. The product will now appear in its new category in the online store. Thanks for watching.
