Adding an Attachment Folder in SAP Sales and Service Cloud

In part 18, we're going to add an attachment folder to our object so that we can also upload any kind of attachment to our solution. In this session we would like to enhance or similar management as a functionality. We would like to have attachments and would like to be able to upload attachments to each seminars that we have for you. So for that, we need to have a so-called attachment folder and that we need to first extend it. Our business object giving it our business object of the seminar management. And I would just put the code for the attachment folder. So we need a dependent object that is of the type attachment folder. We model it as a node and we just give any name. Here we call it in our case similar attachment folder. Then we save and activate. It's important that we make this at the level of our root node of our business object here. Okay. Let me activate that. And then let's open our tea screen that we would like to add our attachment folder. Okay here we have already the tab for the attachments that we left here when we created initially the screen. Now we need to go to configuration. Be like the code here. Say it's on demand ten all the way down to reuse components. Here reuse. And there we find the code document list. And that's the one that we should use. That's the one that is best here. So let's drag and drop this here. And now we have the attachment folder here. And all we need to do now is to bind this here to our root node of our business object. Okay. So we need to set the node reference binding to the root. We bind this here say okay. And that's all we need to do basically now we save and activate. And now we can go to the frontend and check out if you can upload attachments for each seminar. Okay. Let's open for example the German lesson here and go to our attachments. And here add a New Testament like a local file. So let me add one here. For example from my blogging here. I take for example an image. Let's take my background image here. Open. Add this here and you can see I have an image that the uploaded here. So very nicely I can store here my attachment and I could upload now local files, web links, different attachments here which I store for one of my seminars here. And if I open a different seminar there is no attachment. I could also upload an attachment here for this seminar. So that was how to create an attachment folder, a quite short session in order to improve your business objective more and get more capabilities. Here. Again, you first just need to add the dependent object for the attachment folder. And then in the UI designer, you just need to add the right component. Here and bind it to your group. That's it. Then you have an attachment folder and can store attachment for each object.
