Approving or Denying New Supplier Registration Questionnaires in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll watch finance user Matthew Li and supplier manager Amy Chen approve and deny new supplier registration questionnaires. Hi, I'm Matthew. In this scenario, I'll approve a new supplier registration questionnaire. First, I'll navigate to the Registration detail area of the supplier's profile. Next, I'll take action on the task, Approval for new supplier registration. On the approval task details page, I can see any comments other approvers added during questionnaire approval. I'll scroll down to review the answers to the questionnaire. I can select the corresponding response link to view bank and tax details. In this scenario, I'll view the bank details. I'll choose Back to return to the Approval Task Details page. I want to approve this questionnaire, so I'll choose Approve. I'll enter an optional comment, then choose Approve to confirm my approval. I'll choose Done to return to the Registration detail area. I was the final approver, so the questionnaire is now approved, and the supplier is registered. Hi, I'm Amy. In this scenario, I'll deny a new supplier registration questionnaire. First, I'll take action on the task, Approval for New Supplier Registration. Next, I'll review the responses to the questionnaire. Since the supplier does not agree to my company's Code of Conduct, I don't want to approve this registration. I have two alternate options: request additional information from the respondent, or deny the questionnaire. I'll deny the questionnaire by choosing Deny, entering an explanatory comment, and confirming my denial. I'll choose Done to return to the Registration detail area. The questionnaire is now denied and the supplier is in Registration Denied status. You've now learned how approvers approve and deny new supplier registration questionnaires in SAP Ariba Supplier Management. Thanks for watching.
